FLAT ROCK, Ala.--Joseph Larry Talley, 65, died Sunday, February 12, 2017.
He was formerly employed by Asplundh. He was a Baptist and a member of Tri-Community Fire Department.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Virgil and Lula Talley; brothers, Charles Talley, Hershel Talley and Hubert Talley; sister, Mary Grace Frazier; and several nieces and nephews.
Survivors include his daughter, Holly (Rickie) Young; sons, Jeff Talley, Chris (Michelle) Talley and Greg Talley; sisters, Daisy McBryar, Sally Bramlett, Mildred (Sammy) McDonald, Lynn (Murphy) Rogers; brothers, Ray (Judy) Talley and Calvin Talley; six grandchildren; special nephew, Dwight Talley, and other nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. EST Thursday, February 16, in the Bryant chapel of Moore Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Oak Lawn Memorial Park.
Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. on both Tuesday and Wednesday.
