Gertrude Kirkpatrick

TRENTON, Ga.--Gertrude V. Kirkpatrick, 88, died February 15, 2017. She was a member of Mount Olive Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her husband, James Ross Kirkpatrick; daughter, Patricia Ann Adams; and parents, Ruffes and Artie Miles.

Survivors include her sons, James R. Kirkpatrick Jr. (“Junior”) of Trenton and Billy J. Kirkpatrick of Bryant; 13 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and 15 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral services will be held Friday, February 17, at 2 p.m. EST at the Bryant chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Rev. Calvin Carroll officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Lawn Memorial Park.

Visitation will be Thursday 5-9 p.m. and Friday 11 a.m.-2 p.m. EST.
