BRYANT, Ala.--Gary Leon Bomian, 60, died Monday, February 20, 2017. He was a beloved husband, father, son and brother. His presence will be missed forever. Gary loved to hunt and fish and was a huge Alabama fan; he also loved to play golf and softball.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Sam and Minnie Bomian and John and Ollie Hutcheson; uncles, Alton Bomian and Bethel Hutcheson; aunts, Lucy Atchley, Shirley Millard, Ival Hill, Bette Townson, Edie Hutcheson, Opal Pritchett, Polly Barnes and Aunt Zell; and mother-in-law, Mary Rachels.
Survivors include his loving wife of 35 years, Patty Bomian; daughter, Sherria (Jake) Bomian White; son, Derek Smith; parents, Leo and Rita Bomian; sister, Renee (Jerry) Cooper and brother, Greg (Jennifer) Bomian; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. EST Wednesday, February 22, in the Bryant chapel of Moore Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Oak Lawn Memorial Park.
Visitation will be held Tuesday 4-8 p.m. and Wednesday noon-2 p.m.
