Chris Brown

Christopher Lamar Brown, 56, of Bryant, Ala., died March 7, 2017. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son and brother.

He is preceded in death by his stepdaughter, Charlene Denise Smith.

Survivors include his loving wife of 19 years, Pat; children, Christopher Brown Jr., Jared Brown and Cheryl Hickey; parents, Gene and Lorene Brown; sisters, Latresa Barclay and Derenda Brown; brother, Randy (Sheila) Brown; nieces, Shelly (Brendon) Woolan, Katrina Barclay and Constance (Cody) Sullivan; nephew, Tony Brown; step-grandchildren, Stephanie Rene Walker and Cole and David Spurgeon; three great-nephews, Kain Henagar, Kolby Davis and Aiden Brown; and a host of friends.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 11, at 2 p.m. in the Bryant chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Hixon and Rev. Wayne Winters officiating. Burial will follow in Kennemer Cemetery, Flat Rock, Ala.

Visitation will be Thursday 4-8 p.m EST., Friday 2-8 p.m. EST and Saturday noon-2 p.m. EST.
