Cheryl Lane



Cheryl Kathleen Harrell Lane, 59, of Trenton, died on Wednesday March 15, 2017.

Cheryl was born in Michigan City, Ind., to James and Deane Harrell, who preceded her in death. Cheryl was saved at age 8 and rededicated her life to the Lord at age 29. She served the Lord with singing, puppet ministry, teaching Sunday School for many years. She played several instruments including piano, organ, keyboard and accordion. Cheryl had a career in nursing, and she sewed, embroidered and loved to crochet.

Surviving include her husband, Thomas Lane, of Trenton; son, Zachary (Caitlin Morgan) Rand of Ringgold, Ga.; stepdaughter, Desiree (Carl) Lane Moore, and stepson, Daniel Lane, both of Trenton; stepson, David Lane of Chattanooga; grandchildren, Christopher Smith, Karl Lane, Kavan Lane, William Rand, Brayden Rand, Sofia Rand and Cooper Lane; brother, Michael Harrell of Chesterton, Ind., and sister, Linda Harrell of Michigan City; aunts, Betty Harrell Dunavin, and Shirley Harrell Thompson, Bonnie Lowder Plunk and Donna Lowder Harder; several in-laws, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, March 19, in the chapel of Ryan Funeral Home with Rev. Clay Moreland and Bro. Jimmy Wright officiating. Interment will be in Chattanooga National Cemetery.

Family will receive friends 1-8 p.m. Saturday and from noon-3 p.m. Sunday at Ryan Funeral Home.
