Randle Dickerson



Ewell Randle Dickerson, 73, of Trenton, Georgia, died on Monday, March 20, 2017. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother who loved fishing and Nascar racing. He was an officer of the Chattanooga Choo Choo Chorus SPEBSQSA (Society for the Preservation and Encouragement of Barber Shop Quartet Singing in America) and was retired from Georgia Power Company. He was a Vietnam Era veteran who had served with the U.S. Army in Germany.

Randle was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Trenton, where he sang with his family from early childhood.

He is preceded in death by his parents, John Ewell and Jamie Lee Dickerson, and brother, Terry Dickerson.

He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Sheryl Dickerson, daughter, Beth Alison Dickerson, grandson, Joshua Daniel Dickerson, sister and brother-in-law, Shelia and Jim Carroll, all of Trenton; and brother, Will Dickerson of Chattanooga; several nieces and nephews and a host of friends.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday, March 23, in the Trenton chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Reverend Billy Wallace officiating. Interment will follow in Lake Hills Memorial Gardens, Trenton.

Visitation will be Wednesday 2-8 p.m. and Thursday 11 a.m.-3 p.m.
