Norma Jean Wooten


Norma Jean Wooten, 67, of Flat Rock, Ala., died today, June 1, 2017. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. She was a member of Shiloh Nazarene Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Wooten, and daughter Connie Wooten.

Survivors include her daughters Sandy (Alex) Case, Trenton, Angie (Ricky) Killian, Fort Payne, Ala., and Sabrina Wooten, Flat Rock; six grandchildren, Ashley Buttram, Nicholas Blalock, Jade Wooten, Alexis Case, Jaxon Case and Talie Morgan; five great-grandchildren; four sisters, Geneva Wooten, Sherry Bates, Elsie Rooney and Diana Doyle; brother, Lee Wooten; nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. EDT Saturday, June 3, in the Trenton chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Brother Eddie Cantrell officiating. Burial will follow in Payne Gap Cemetery.

Visitation will be held Friday 4-8 p.m. EDT and Saturday noon-2 p.m. EDT
