Roy Lee Cloud, 85, of Trenton, died Friday, June 9, 2017, surrounded by his loving family. He was employed by Chris Craft Boats of Chattanooga for 21 years and later was self-employed as a residential contractor. He and his wife loved working side by side gardening, attending church and visiting family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ed and Frances Cloud; sisters, Arlivia Culpepper and Edna Jo Byers; and brothers, William Edward “Bud” Cloud and Everette Cloud.
Survivors includes the love of his life, wife of 64 years Susie Elizabeth Cloud; daughters, Cheryl Ann Black and Sandra Benita Jackson; son, James Kenneth Cloud; sisters, Betty Jean Palmer, Frances Della Williams, Faye Baxter, Donna Foote, Connie Atkins and Rose Pittman; brothers, Ron Cloud and Wesley Cloud; seven grandchildren, Victoria Southerland, Christopher Black, Thomas Black, Kara Cooper, Elizabeth Cloud, Mason Cloud and Ashley Adams; seven great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and a host of friends.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. EDT Monday, June 12, in the chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Brother Jerry Waldon officiating. Interment will follow in Gib Dock Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Sunday 2-8 p.m. and Monday 11 a.m.-2 p.m.
