Alma Pryor


Alma Pearline Tinker Pryor, 87, of Trenton, died Thursday evening, July 6, 2017. She was a 1948 graduate of Dade County High School. She was the eldest daughter of Rev. Pearl and Opal Tinker and was a member of Rising Fawn Baptist Church. Mrs. Pryor was self-employed in the commercial cleaning industry.

PShe was peceded in death by her husband, Rev. Charles Pryor; sisters Geneive Hatfield and Norma Bodenhamer; and brother Charles Tinker.

Surviving include sons Rev. Gary Boyce Pryor and Michael Ray (Felicia) Pryor; sister Myrna (Melvin) Smith; Billie (Bryan) Gass, all of Trenton; grandchildren Melissa Miles, Kristy Sharp, Deanna Morgan, Charles Canazaro and John Canazaro; several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at noon Monday in the chapel with Rev. Tommy Crider and Rev. Jerry Atkins officiating. Interment will follow in the Whitt Cemetery. Family will receive friends Sunday noon-8 p.m. and Monday 10 a.m.-noon at the funeral home.
