Brenda Eakin, 74, of Rising Fawn, died Monday, July 10, 2017. She attended Edgewood Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Eakin; infant daughter, Patty Joyce Eakin; son Denny Eakin; granddaughter Chasity Roberson; grandson Kevin Eakin; sister Pat Burgess; and two brothers, Paul and Billy Ivie.
Surviving include daughter Alice (Victor) Cansler of Chuckey, Tenn.; daughter Donna (Clon) Stotts of Lookout Valley; son Tom (Tammy) Eakin of Rising Fawn; grandchildren Joe (Chris) Harden, Brandon (Jessi) Harden, Jennifer (Chuck) Nunley, Brock (Kayla) Stotts, Dana Stotts, Tiffany (Damien) Blevins, Levi Eakin and Justin (Jordan) Whitaker; 12 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; sister Mary Alice (Glen) Norvell; and brother Don (Sue) Ivie.
Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 12, in the chapel with Bro. Dean Sims officiating. Interment will be in Lake Hills Memorial Gardens.
Family will receive friends 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
