Terry Lynn Lanier, 72, of Trenton, died Tuesday, Aug. 15, 2017. He was a loving father, grandfather and brother. His interests were antique cars and hotrods. He was a member of Piney Grove Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his daughter Michelle Godwin; parents, Waymon and Virginia Lanier; and sister Debbie Kenimer.
Survivors include his daughters Angel (Jason) Jones and Starla Lanier; sisters Judy Long Smith and Brenda Long Benson; 11 grandchildren, Russel and Lacey Gregory, Kira Jones, Ariel McClam, Kayla McClam, Daniel McClam, Dylan McClam, Chase Hale, Sharina Godwin, Shyanna Godwin and Savannah Godwin; three great-grandchildren, Wednesday Lockhart, Silas Godwin and Kendrix Godwin; best friends Danny Elrod, Wesley Gentry, Ronnie Stiles and Doug Sanson; nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a,m. EDT Thursday, Aug. 17, in the chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Reverend John Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Trenton Baptist Cemetery.
Visitation will be Wednesday 4-8 p.m. and Thursday 10-11 a.m.
