John W. Moore, 89, of Wildwood, died on Friday, Sept. 1, 2017.
John is survived by his wife, Ruth; one son, Bruce (Becky); and two daughters, Lisa (Rob) Hatch and Allyson (Chris) Carlton; five grandchildren and one great grandson; sister, Cynthia Stovall; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
John was a member of Trenton United Methodist Church. He was retired from DuPont and a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Monday, Sept. 4, in the Chapel of Moore Funeral Home. Interment will be in Chattanooga National Cemetery at a later date.
Visitation will be held Sunday 3-6 p.m. and Monday 11 a.m.-1 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Trenton UMC Building Fund
