Larry Jerome Jones, 70, of Wildwood, died on Thursday, Sept. 7, 2017, at a local hospital. Mr. Jones attended Dade County schools and later was employed in various positions in the construction industry. He was of the Pentecostal faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Novella Jones; brother Rev. Vernon Jones; sisters Verona J. McDonald and Norma J. Boshears.
Surviving include his children, Christy J. Buchanan and Lebron Jones, both of Palmer, Alaska; four grandchildren; mother of his children, Sue Jones Young of Palmer; brother Lynnes (Barbara) Jones of Rossville; sister Nancy J. Belk of Wildwood; sister Judy J. (Gary) Barclay of Rossville; sister-in-law Barbara Jones of Trenton; and several nieces and nephews.
A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
