Donnie “Biscuit” Daniels, 70, of Trenton, died Thursday, Sept. 14, 2017, at his home. He was retired from the City of Trenton Public Works and formerly employed with J.W. Forshee Construction. Mr. Daniels was a hardworking father who loved his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren more than words can express.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Ruby Daniels; sisters Louise Presley, Margaret Gass, Sue Bears and Mary Jane Giering; brother George Daniels; and infant brother Joseph Daniels.
Surviving include his son Donald “Duck” (Sonya) Daniels of Trenton; Mitchell “Pink” Daniels of Ider, Ala.; Harold (Stacy) Daniels of Trenton, Ala.; daughter Christy Ellis of Bryan, Ala.; 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; brother Preston (Mary) Daniels; sister Alice (Kenneth) Wooten; sister Glenda Davidson; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 17, in the chapel with Rev. Dewayne Porter officiating. Interment will follow in Trenton Baptist Cemetery. Family will receive friends 4-8 p.m. Saturday and noon-3 p.m. Sunday at Ryan Funeral Home.
