Karen Holland Willis

Karen Elaine Holland Willis, 67, of Brunswick, Ga., formerly of Trenton, died Monday evening at a Chattanooga hospital. She was retired from Coastal Manor where she was a licensed practical nurse. Mrs. Willis was a member of the Crossroads Church of God in Jesup, Ga.

She was preceded in death by her parents, David and Beatrice DeFoy Holland; son Jess Chancy, Jr.; sisters Donna Joe Chapman and Nelda Ann Kennedy.

Surviving include her husband, Joseph T. Willis Jr., of Brunswick; son David Chancy of Trenton; stepdaughter Nancy (James) Spradley of Waynesville, Ga; stepson Steven Thomas Willis of Jesup; two grandchildren; sister Barbara Jones of Trenton; brother David Edward Holland Jr. of Trenton; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 7, at Crossroads Church of God in Jesup with Rev. Hullet Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Pine Crest Cemetery.

Family will receive friends 3-8 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 4, at Ryan Funeral Home in Trenton and 1-3 p.m. Saturday at Crossroads Church of God in Jesup.
