Ollie Steele Wallin, 88, of Trenton, died Monday, Oct. 9, 2017. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend. She was a member of Rising Fawn Baptist Church.

Mrs. Ollie was a Sunday cchool teacher for over 53 years, a member of the WMU and, along with Bro. Pearl Tinker, held the first Vacation Bible School at Trenton First Baptist Church. She also started the first Band Boosters Club in Dade County.

She was preceded in death by two husbands, Raymond Steele Sr. and Roy Wallin; sons Michael Wayne Steele and Raymond Steele Jr.; and her sisters and brother.

She is survived by her daughter, Faye McCrery Guffey and Faye’s husband, Eric, stepdaughter, Gail Wallin; stepsons Roy Wallin Jr. and Joe Wallin; five grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, Oct. 12, at 1 p.m. EDT in the Trenton chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Reverend Tommy Crider officiating. Burial will follow in Lake Hills Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be Wednesday 3-8 p.m. and Thursday 11 a.m.-1 p.m. EDT.
