Virginia Rose Britt Houston, 81, of Wildwood, died at her residence on Sunday evening, Oct. 8, 2017. She was a retired seamstress with Ira Trivers Co. Mrs. Houston was of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Houston.
Surviving are daughter Deborah (Ray) Santoianni of Greenville, S.C.; daughter Kim (Lester) Abbott of Flat Rock, Ala.; son Larry (Nancy ) Houston of Red Bank, Tenn.; brothers Joe Britt and Fred (Alma) Britt, both of Trenton; brother Junior (Terri) Britt of New York, N.Y.; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 11, in the chapel of Ryan Funeral Home with Rev. Eddie Cantrell officiating. Family will receive friends there from 1-3 p.m. on Wednesday.
