Marlene Bradford Green, 63, of Menlo, Ga., died early Tuesday morning, Oct. 24, 2017. Mrs. Green was a self-employed tailor and often did custom work for Bruce Baird Company in Chattanooga. She was an avid quilter and ceramics maker, specializing in a variety of household items. She spent her free time volunteering at the local nursing home.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Inge Finzel, and father, Marvin Bradford.
Surviving include her loving husband of 44 years, Craig Green of Menlo; son, Marty Green; brother, Michael Bradford; sisters, Monica Bradford Andrews and Patty Goodlett; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 26, in the chapel with Chaplin Manny Crril officiating. Private family services will be held at Chattanooga National Cemetery on Friday.
The family will receive friends from 4-7 p.m. Thursday at Ryan Funeral Home.
