Crystal Marie Smith Vergara, 40, of Trenton, died Saturday, Oct. 21, 2017, with her husband and daughter by her side. She was employed by Blue Cross Blue Sheild for over 20 years. She was a Dade County High School graduate, class of ’95, and a member of Browns Ferry Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Ruth Davis, and paternal grandparents, Rushel and Bessie Smith.
Surviving include her loving husband of 21 years, Paul Vergara; daughter, Kylee Vergara; parents, Dusty and Nancy Smith; brother, Dustin (Laney) Smith; sister, Dawn (Ray) Stevens, all of Trenton; two nieces, Lilly Stevens and Chassity Stevens; and special friend, Sharon Little.
Funeral services will be held at noon Saturday, Oct. 28, in the chapel with Pastor Zachary Ditmar officiating. Interment will follow in Poplar Springs Cemetery. Family will receive friends noon-8 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m.-noon Saturday at Ryan Funeral Home.
