Johnnie Ryan, 97, of Wildwood, died Tuesday morning Oct. 31, 2017, at her residence. She had served in various capacities with the Dade County School System, where she retired. She was a member of Lookout Valley Church of the Nazarene, where she served in multiple positions.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Read Ryan, and granddaughter Beth Brock.
Surviving include two daughters, Carol (Doug) Brock and Myra (Bart) Brannon of Wildwood; sister, Freda Seaton of Chattanooga; grandsons Douglas (Gina) Brock of Mulberry, Fla., Danny Brock of Wildwood and Barton (Brittany) Brannon of Chattanooga; granddaughter Tiffany (Seth) Castleberry of Trenton; great-grandchildren Taylor and Rylie Brannon, Paige Castleberry, Brianna Moore, Nathaniel and Megan Brock; and great-great-grandchildren Tara, Addison and Carson.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 4, in the chapel with Rev. John Andrus officiating. Interment will follow in Lake Hills Memorial Gardens.
Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Friday and noon until service time Saturday at the funeral home.
