Millie Taylor


Mildred “Millie” Ann Taylor, 66, died today, Tuesday, Nov. 7, 2017. She was a loving wife, mother, sister and friend, and a member of Calvary Baptist Church.

Millie was a 1969 graduate of Dade High School, where she was listed in “Who’s Who in American High School,” valedictorian of her class, and awarded the Betty Crocker Homemaker award. She was an Avon representative and worked at several different Red Food/BiLo locations as baker and deli manager.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Kelly and Margaret Stancel, sister Gwen Longwith and brother Ray Stancel.

She is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, Robert Taylor; sons and daughters-in-law, Stephen and Vanessa Taylor and Brian and Bonnie Taylor; sister Marilyn Moynahan; and her beloved granddogs and grandcats.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. EST Thursday, Nov. 9, in the Trenton chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Brother Tim Renshaw officiating. Burial will follow in Whitt Cemetery.

Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. EST Wednesday and noon- 2 p.m. EST Thursday.
