Joyce Mae Holt, 83, of Chickamauga, died Thursday, Nov. 23, 2017. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother and sister. Joyce was of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her son Perry Holt; parents, Jim and Annie Mae Thompson; two sisters and three brothers.
She is survived by her loving husband of over 66 years, Jack Holt; daughter, Cindy Lewis, Hixson, Tenn.; sons Allen Holt, Neil Holt and Kris Holt, all of Chickamauga; seven grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; sisters Hazel Davis, Pisgah, Ala., and Rena Wright, Scottsboro, Ala.; and brother Leonard Thompson, Dutton, Ala.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. EST Sunday, Nov. 26, in the Trenton chapel of Moore Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Lakewood West Cemetery.
Visitation will be Saturday 4-8 p.m. and Sunday 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
