Joe Mack Brown, 81, formerly of Trenton, died Saturday morning, Dec. 9, 2017. Mr. Brown was a saddlemaker and had retired from Big Horn Saddlery of Chattanooga. He was of the Church of God faith.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Rose Brown.

Surviving include his daughter, JoAnn Brown (Peter) Greer of Kennesaw, Ga.; four stepbrothers, Roy Tate, Jack (Shirley) Tate, Albert Tate and Donnie Tate, all of Lenoir, Tenn.; stepsister, Ruth Schubert of Lenoir; and several nieces and nephews.


Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Williams officiating. Interment will be in Brown Gap Cemetery.

Family will receive friends 4-8 p.m. Wednesday and 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Thursday.
