Alline Cameron



Alline Lois Cameron, 87, of New Salem, a loving wife, mother and grandmother, died today, Christmas Day, Dec. 25, 2017, surrounded by her family. She was a member of New Salem Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Cameron; infant son Bobby; granddaughter Holly Chappelear; daughter-in-law Sharon Cameron; parents, Lunsford and Jessie Neal; five brothers and two sisters.

Survivors include her daughters, Helen (Frank) Chappelear and Debbie Stevens; sons Terry Cameron and Danny (Sheri) Cameron; nine grandchildren, Lee, Kenny, Amanda, Erica, Jessica, Danny, Derek, Tracey and Torina; 26 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, extended family and a host of friends.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 27, in the chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Brother Jim Blaylock officiating. Burial will be in Hawkins Cemetery.

Visitation will be Tuesday 2-8 p.m. and Wednesday 10-11 a.m.
