Doyle Bodenhamer, 70, of Trenton, died Tuesday, Dec. 26, 2017. He was a resident of north Georgia and of Birmingham, Ala. He was a 1965 graduate of Davis High School and was salutatorian of his class. He was an insurance salesman and carpenter. Doyle was a member of Avans Church of God.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Maudie Bodenhamer, and grandmother, Francis West.
He is survived by his wife, Augusta Bodenhamer; son, Doyle Lee Bodenhamer; daughter, Dusty Mooneyham; grandchildren, BreAnna Mooneyham and Cassidy Mooneyham; great-grandson, Kaysen Parris; brother, Douglas Bodenhamer; half-brother, Richard Bodenhamer; niece, Carmen Bodenhamer; nephew, Doug Bodenhamer Jr.; and other family members and friends.
Funeral services will be on Saturday, Dec. 30, at 2 p.m. EST in the Bryant chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Rev. Brad Bridges officiating. Burial will be in Brown Gap Cemetery.
Visitation will be Friday 3-8 p.m. EST and Saturday 1-2 p.m. EST.
