Ed “Paw” Bearden, 73, of Trenton, died Wednesday morning, January 17, 2018. He, along with his sons, operated Sand Mountain Logging. Mr. Bearden was a veteran of the Vietnam era and was of the Pentecostal faith.

He was preceded in death by his wife of over 41 years, Alma Ruth Wooten Bearden.

Surviving include his daughter, Tonya ( Joseph) Riley of Trenton; son, Michael (Misty) Bearden of Ider, Ala.; brothers, Wilford (Becky) Bearden, Harvey (Sherry) Bearden, Chett (Janette) Bearden, all of of Dalton, and Lamar (Faye) Bearden of Chattanooga; six grandchildren, one great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in the chapel with Bro. Randy Flood officiating.

The family will receive friends 2-8 p.m. Thursday, 2-8 p.m. Friday and 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday at Ryan Funeral Home in Trenton.
