William “Bill” Ray Ellison, 73, of Trenton, died Sunday, January 28, 2018. He was a member of Trenton Ministry Center. Bill worked with Hutcheson Medical Center as an EMT for over 15 years and had served in the U.S. Air Force.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Julious Baxter and Elsie Mildred Ellison; and second wife, Mary L. Ellison.
He is survived by his loving wife of three years, Marretta Ellison; daughter, Channa (Justin) Peters, Minnesota; sons, Evan (Pam) Stone of Trenton, Greg Ellison and Steve Ellison of Chattanooga, and Dusty (Yoko) Ellison of Atlanta; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; sisters, Linda (Allan) Groves, Ringgold, and Bettye (David) Breeden, South Pittsburg, Tenn.; brother, Johnny (Laura) Ellison, Ider, Ala.; several nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. EST Friday, February 2, in the Trenton chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Bishop David Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Trenton Baptist Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Thursday 3-8 p.m. and Friday 10 a.m.-3 p.m.
