Erie Lou Cuzzort, 98, of Trenton, died Thursday, March 15, 2018. Mrs. Cuzzort was a homemaker and the loving mother of nine children. She was a member of the Dade County Senior Citizens and of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thurman Cuzzort; parents, James and Priscilla Thompson; two daughters, Wanda Cuzzort and Glenda Cranmore; four sons, Hershel, Clines, Lemowen and Jerry Cuzzort; four sisters and two brothers.
Survivors include daughter Barbie Tallent of Soddy Daisy, Tenn.; daughter Dertha Carroll of Trenton; son Ledell Cuzzort, also of Trenton; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 18, in the chapel with Rev. Chris Hagler officiating. Interment will follow in Browns Gap Cemetery. Family will receive friends 2-8 p.m. on Saturday and 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Sunday at Ryan Funeral Home, Trenton.
