Philip Coleman



Philip J. Coleman, 79, of Trenton, formerly of Evergreen, Ala., died Wednesday, April 4, 2018. He was retired from Gill Manufacturing after 10-plus years of service. Mr. Coleman was an avid gardener and enjoyed listening to classic country music, especially Johnny Cash and Hank Williams Sr.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Valley Weaver Coleman; siblings, Opal Lowe, Ravon Coleman, Melvin Coleman and Elouise Frazier; and grandchild, Thomas Coleman.

Surviving include his daughter, Carol (Matt) Floyd of Bryant, Ala.; sons, Wendell Coleman of Trenton and Jeff Coleman of Flat Rock, Ala; grandchild, Celine Goleman; and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held at 3 p.m. EST on Sunday, April 15, at Floral Crest Seventh-day Adventist Church, 571 County Road 89, Bryant.
