Robert Lee Gentry, 72, died in Madison, Tenn., on Friday, February 1, 2018. Mr. Gentry was born on February 16, 1945, in Trenton, Tenn., and lived in Whitehouse, Tenn. He was a retired truck driver.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Rose Gentry; parents, Warren and Ruth Gentry; brothers James Gentry, William “Sonny” Gentry and Kenneth Gentry; sisters Donna Gentry, Edith Page and Marlene Phillips.
Survivors include his son, Bryon Gentry; daughter, Tammy Thompson; brothers Carl (Roberta) Gentry and Wesley Gentry; sister Becky Sullivan; several stepsons and stepdaughters; a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life service will be held on Friday, April 13, at United Church of God in Trenton, Ga., from 4-7 p.m. with Bro. Randy Taylor officiating.
