Granville “Barry” Lee Pope, 71, of Bryant, Ala., died Friday, April 27, 2018. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harvey Clayton and Alpha Omega Pope; sister Alpha Jean Robinson; and brother Harvey C. “Buddy” Pope Jr.
He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Margaret Pope; daughter, Wendy (Brad) Tipton, Chattanooga; son, Frankie Pope, Bryant; sisters Shirley (Clem) Hicks and Lucille Howard, Trenton.; one grandchild, one great-grandchild, nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. EDT Tuesday, May 1, 2018, in the Bryant chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Brother Brad Bridges officiating. Burial will follow in Bryant Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Monday 4-8 p.m. EDT and Tuesday 11 a.m.- 1 p.m. EDT.
