James Wade

James Alexander Wade, 87 died Tuesday, May 8, 2018. He was born July 25, 1930. He was a member of Mount Olive Baptist Church of Higdon. Ala.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ruth Ann and Felix A Wade, brothers Ray Wade and Rex Wade and sister Verna Ruth Wood.

Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Ruth Dobbins Wade; sons Dale (Billie) and Alan (Ann) Wade; daughters, Christi (Anthony) Atchley and Melody (Marc) Skinner; brothers, Gene Wade, Glen Wade, Eddie Wade, Dwight Wade and Jerry Wade; sisters Frances Brown and Joyce Cooper; nine grandchildren; nine great- grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. EDT Friday, May 11, in the Bryant chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Brother Brian Vann and Brother Jimmy Hixon officiating. Interment will be in Oak Lawn Memorial Park.

Visitation will be Thursday 4-8 p.m. and Friday 11 a.m.-3 p.m.
