Annie Lou Medders Johnson, 92, passed from this life on Sunday, May 27, 2018. She was loved by all who knew her.
Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by her husband, J.W. Johnson; mother, Lilly Medders; brothers Sam Medders, Travis Medders and Tucker Medders; granddaughter Tracy Kesler; great-grandson Griff Kesler.
She is survived by her brother W.T. Medders; sister Ruth Sandlin; children, JoAnn Mize, Betty Rucker, Dover Johnson and Jeff Johnson; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 14 great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She will sorely be missed by all. Our loss is heaven’s gain. Philipians 30:20-21.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. CST at Johnstown Baptist Church on Wednesday, May 30, with Rev. Terry Arnold officiating. A graveside service will follow at Johnstown Cemetery. The family will receive friends from noon to 1 p.m. at the church.
