Betty Jo Fortner, 85, died Friday, June 29, 2018. She was a seamstress and a member of Riverside Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Orvan Fortner, and son, Jerry D. Fortner.
Survivors includes her loving family, daughter, Diana L. (Roy) Blevins; son, Tony W. (Linda) Fortner; sisters, Geneva Holliman and Virginia Owensby; brother, Gene Emerling; grandchildren, Kelly (Doug) Mitchell, Barron (Amee) Fortner, Caleb (Angela) Fortner, Lebron (Brooke) Jones, Tim (Donnell) Jones, Jessica (Byron) Smith, and Joel (Misty) Fortner; 17 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 3, in the chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Brother Josh Parham officiating. Interment will be in Lakewood Memory Gardens, Chattanooga.
Visitation will be Monday 4-8 p.m. and Tuesday 10 a.m.-1 p.m.
