Bernice Cuzzort Smith, 98, of Trenton, died Tuesday, July 10, 2018. She was a member of Porter Road Church of God, a loving, devoted wife and mother and a revered grandmother and great-grandmother.
Ms. Smith was preceded in death by her husband, Authur Smith, and one son, Larry Smith.
Surviving include her children Joyce (George) Campbell, James (Brenda) Smith, Rondal (Faye) Smith, JoAnne Price, Loretta (John) Price, Carolyn (Houston) Whited, Darlene Smith, Roberta (Carl) Gentry, Erlene (Joe) McDowell, Gail (James) Jones, and Sherry (Billy) Elrod; one sister, Mary Magdalene Dotson; one brother, Harmon L. Cuzzort; 31 grandchildren, 49 great-grandchildren, 13 great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 4 p.m. Friday July 13, in the chapel with Bro. Mike Williams and Rev. Gary Bone officiating. Interment will follow in Ebenezer Baptist Cemetery.
Family will receive friends 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, 4-8 p.m. Thursday and 2-4 p.m. Friday at Ryan Funeral Home, Trenton, Ga.
