Rebecca “Becky” Wheeler Edwards, 75, of Trenton, died today, Wednesday, August 8, 2018. She was employed by Steward Inc. of Chattanooga for forty-plus years. Mrs. Edwards was a lifelong member of Piney Grove Baptist Church and enjoyed gardening, especially beautiful flowers.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Bonnie Wheeler; sisters Betty Cates and Belva Philpot; and brother Joe Wheeler.
Surviving include her daughter, Cecelia Ann Dawson of Trenton; grandchildren Sierra Noel Dawson and Robert Tristan Dawson, both of Trenton, GA; sister Rose West; brothers Albert Wheeler, Lewis Wheeler and Ken Wheeler; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 10, in the chapel of Ryan Funeral Home with Bro. John Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Lake Hills Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. on Thursday and 10-11 a.m. on Friday at Ryan Funeral Home, Trenton, Ga.
