Robert Dean Cook, 57, of Bryant, Ala., died today, Thursday, Aug. 23, 2018. He was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert F. Cook.
He is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Sharion Cook; daughters Charity (Nathan) Simpson, Hunterville, N.C., and Heather Cook, Elizabethtown, Ky.; mother and stepfather Ann and Leon Smith; sister Cindy (Bill) Radford, Keysville, Ga.; stepsister Leann (Jack) Lundquist; stepbrother Phillip (Sarah) Smith; five grandchildren, Caleb Simpson, Rylee Simpson, Kaden Simpson, Gavin Cook and Reid Cook; nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. EDT Saturday, Aug. 25, in the Bryant chapel with Pastor Phillip Trask and Pastor David Jordan officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be Friday 4-8 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m.-1 p.m. EDT.
American Legion Post 106 will provide full military honors.
