Belinda Louise Pierce, 68, of Trenton, died Tuesday, Sept. 4, 2018. She was born in Toppenish, Wash., and spent most of her life in Evansville, Ind., but it was only after moving to Georgia 25 years ago that she considered herself home.
After retiring, she volunteered with children. She was a very active and dedicated member of Piney Grove Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harrell and Peggy Pierce.
She is survived by her daughter, Theresa McDaniel; granddaughter, Katie McDaniel; brother and sister, Jesse Pierce of East Ridge, Ga., and Peggy Digman of New Harmony, Ind., with whom Mrs. Pierce shared a close bond; brother and sister Owen Small of Evansville and Sara Strong of Henderson, Ky.
She will be remembered as having a wonderful heart full of love for her Lord, family and friends.
A celebration of her life service will be held Saturday, Sept. 15, at Piney Grove Baptist Church at 11 a.m. EDT with Brother John Smith officiating. A potluck-style lunch will be held after the service for family and friends.
