Mamie Lee Abbott Clark, 95, of the New Salem community, passed away peacefully at her current home in Villanow, Georgia, on Tuesday, Sept. 4, 2018.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Rice Clark; sons, Billy and Jerry Clark; parents, Jim and Avie Abbot; four brothers and one sister; two grandsons and two greatpgrandsons.
Mamie is survived and will be greatly missed by Dee Clark (Genelle) of LaFayette and Essie Clark of Villanow; 10 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at noon Friday, Sept. 7, in the chapel of Moore Funeral Home. Burial will be in Hawkins Cemetery.
Visitation will be Thursday 4-8 p.m. and Friday 10 a.m.-noon.
