Rickey Irwin Higdon, 64, of Chattanooga, died Saturday, Sept. 8, 2018. He was employed by Roper G.E. and was of the Unitarian faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Mary Higdon; sisters Ellen Veal, Carlene Smith and Ludia Higdon; and brothers Leondus Higdon and Rudell Higdon.
Survivors include his spouse, Johnny Eugen Goins; sisters Dovie Lee Jones and Sheila Smith; and brother, Carthell Higdon.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. EDT Wednesday, Sept. 12, in the Bryant chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Brother Edwin Spurgeon officiating. Interment will be in Higdon Cemetery.
Visitation will be Tuesday 4-8 p.m. and Wednesday 10 a.m.-2 p.m. EDT.
