Leon Wilbanks, 71, of Wildwood, died Thursday, Sept. 13, 2018. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.
He was preceded in death by his son Danny Eugene Wilbanks; parents, Homer and Willie Wilbanks; brothers, Gerald Wilbanks and Charles Wilbanks; and sister, Flora Lee Dodson.
He is survived by his loving wife, Cassie Wilbanks; daughter, Marchele (Eric) Layne; son Eric Wayne (Dani) Wilbanks; grandchildren, Elijah Layne, Logan Wilbanks, Landon Wilbanks, Anna Layne and Emma Wilbanks; and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 16, in the Trenton chapel with Brother Mike Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Unity Cemetery, Sylvania, Ala.
Visitation will be Saturday 4-8 pm. and Sunday 11 a.m.-2 p.m.
