Edgar Jones

Edgar L. Jones, 74, of Trenton, died on Thursday, Sept. 20, 2018. Mr. Jones was a self-employed carpenter. He was an avid coon hunter and outdoorsman.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Roscoe and Ruth Grant Jones; sisters Mary Lou Ivey, Elizabeth Smith and Faye Patton; and brothers Bill Jones and Garland Jones.

Surviving are three daughters; Kim Jones, Ren’a Harris and Valerie (Larry) Redden; five grandchildren, Matthew Harris, Courtlyn Alexander, Lexi Redden, Lance Redden and Layla Redden; brother Sammy Jones; sister Flora Hartline; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 22, at Poplar Springs Cemetery with Rev. Tommy Bearden officiating.
