Bessie Amalee Stone, 91, of Trenton, died today, Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2018. She was a lifelong resident of Dade County, a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, and a member of Trenton First Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her children’s father, Albert Earl Stone; life partner, Luke Mullinex; and parents, Edward Garfield and Callie Guinn Powell.
She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Patrick and Eileen Stone of Rising Fawn and Nathan Brian and Jeanie Stone of Trenton; four grandchildren, Jade, Haley, P.J. and James; three great-grandchildren, Colin, Claire and Jaelyn; nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 18, at Lake Hills Memorial Gardens with Brother Eddie Cantrell officiating.
Visitation will be Thursday 10 a.m.-2:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
