Alvin E. Ringer, 84, of Higdon, Ala., died Friday, Oct. 26, 2018. He was a member of Ownbey Chapel Seventh-day Adventist Church. He was retired from Sand Mountain Flowers.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Kathleen Ringer; parents, Olga and Lawrence Ringer; and daughter Dawn Farmer.
Survivors include his daughters Robin (Darren) Mitchell and Bonnie (Richard) McCurdy; son, Larry (Nita) Ringer; sister, Elaine (Bill) Post; brother, Albert (Mary) Ringer; 11 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
Memorial services will be at 3 p.m. EDT on Saturday, Nov. 3, at Floral Crest Seventh-day Adventist Church.
