Carolyn Joyce Hartline Riley, 83, of East Ridge, Tenn., died Sunday afternoon, Nov. 25, 2018. Mrs. Riley was retired from Courtland Terrace in Gastonia, N.C. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Albemarle, N.C., and a graduate of Dade County High School in Trenton.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Sidney and Nettie Massey Hartline; three brothers, Charles, Jimmy and Tommy Hartline; and two sisters, Lucille Hansberger and Virginia Ryan.
Surviving include her loving husband, John Riley of Chattanooga; daughter Kathy Riley of Durham, N.C.; daughter Karen Riley of Tampa, Fla.; sister Patsy Lynch of Wildwood; brother Buford Hartline of Trenton; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 28, in the chapel of Ryan Funeral Home with Rev. Reece Fauscett officiating. Interment will follow in Lake Hills Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends 4-7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 27, at Ryan Funeral Home, Trenton, Ga.
