Kathryn Elaine “Kat” Nichols, 48, of Bryant, Ala., died Sunday, Nov. 25, 2018. She worked as a registered nurse at Parkridge Hospital on the cancer floor and the orthopedics floor. She cared for her patients with love and compassion and her humor made them laugh.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 22 years, Jason Nichols, and her father and mother, Bo and Mary Rachels.
She is survived by the light of her life, her daughter, Mary Nichols, and a large family of brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends who will miss her laugh, her humor and her strong personality forever.
Memorial services will be at 7 p.m. EST Friday, Nov. 30, at the Bryant chapel.
Visitation will be Friday, Nov. 30, 4-7 p.m. EST at the Bryant chapel.
