Ruby Marie Barbee, 88, of Sand Mountain, Trenton, died Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2018,

at her home. She had retired from Trenton Spinning Mills after 15 years of service.

Mrs. Barbee was a long-time member of New Vision Church of God. She was very strong in

her faith and a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George Barbee Sr.; parents, L.E. and

Hester Guffey; and two brothers, Wiley and John Guffey.

Left to cherish her memory are daughters Marie Smith and Barbara (Ronny) Stone;

sons George Barbee Jr., Jimmy (Sally) Barbee, Steve (Charlotte) Barbee and Doug

(Tina) Barbee; 13 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, eight

great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Saturday, Dec. 15, 2-8 p.m., and Sunday, 11 a.m.-1 p.m., at Ryan Funeral Home, Trenton, Ga.

Funeral services will be on Sunday, Dec. 16, at 1 p.m. in the chapel with Pastor Michael Kilgore officiating. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery.
