Editor's Note: This is a letter to the public from Nathan Wooten, organizer of the annual Dade Small Business Expo, at which he is pictured at right.
THANK YOU to everyone who came out and supported the 2018 Dade Christmas Small Business EXPO--it was the best attended so far.
For all the vendors (91 of you total), and all the visitors who came out to shop on a "not so nice" day, THANK YOU! We had approximately 800 visitors who came and shopped, and looked and ate, and we thank you one and all.
A special THANK YOU goes to Mr Farhney, Mrs. Meeks, and Dr Harris for changing the sports schedules to accommodate the EXPO at Dade High School. Also to Thatchers BBQ for providing lunch to our shoppers, to Monda Wooten and the trusties for all their hard work, and to Cheryl Painter for her tireless efforts in making this event a continuing success.
Most of all, THANK YOU to the vendors who participated! Without you, this event would not happen!
We were able to give away many, many prizes this year, including 2 tablets (compliments of Citizens Bank) Fleetwood Mac Tickets and $1,000 in CASH!
Thank you to all who supported us this year! Planning will start in the spring for next year's EXPO...anyone who would like to participate in the process should email dadeexpo@yahoo.com. New ideas and helpers are always welcome!!!
