Jim Sells



James Robert “Jim” Sells, 78, of McDonald, Tenn., died on Tuesday, January 1, 2019, in a local hospital.

He is survived by his loving wife, Lanita Sells; son, Brian (Tammy) Sells of Cleveland, Tenn.; grandson, Haydon Sells; sister, Irene Fletcher of Livingston; special friend, David Swafford; and four-legged companions Marley and Blondie.

James was born in Livingston, Tenn., to the late Beulah and Arthur Sells. He served in the U.S. Army National Guard. He was a member of Corinth Baptist Church and an active member of the McDonald/Black Fox Ruritan Club.

Funeral services will be held at Moore Funeral Home, Trenton chapel, on Thursday, January 3, at 1 p.m. with Brother Gary Thacker and Shane Williams officiating. He will be laid to rest at Sarah’s Chapel Cemetery in Wildwood with full military honors.

The family will receive friends on Thursday 11 a.m.-1 p.m.
