Jerry Louis Leverett, 64, of Trenton, died Tuesday, March 19, 2019. “Buzzard” was the most kind, patient and loving person you could ever meet. He loved to help people in any way that he could. He will be greatly missed.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ida Crisp and Wayne Leverett; and sister Kim Rollins.
Survivors include his loving wife of 40 years, Deborah Leverett; children, Amanda “Rosye” (Ryan) Owens and Jacob (Jackie) Leverett; grandchildren, Kiersten “Sweetie” Owens, John Nova and Ryder Lane Leverett; eight brothers and sisters, many nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
A celebration of life will be held at White Oak Baptist Church on Friday, March 22, at 4 p.m. with Pastor Jeff Daniels officiating.
Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. on Friday at White Oak Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to the Kidney Foundation or the American Cancer Society.
